Iconic skater/artist Ed Templeton worked with Emerica for this collaboration and the results couldn't get any better. These Romero Laced shoes feature a special die cut EVA insole, solid cupsole construction, and a stich and turned vamp that helps to prevent tears in the ollie-area.

Cupsole - Cupsoles are durable, well-cushioned and provide the best impact protection against hard landings. The sole consists of a single rubber layer, reinforced with glue then stitched to the upper. Cupsoles generally last longer than vulcanized soles, but don't provide as much flexibility and board feel right out of the box.
Elastic Tongue-Centering Straps - Keeps the tongue from sliding down sideways while you're skating.
Triangle Tread - Emerica's Triangle Tread pattern provides maximum grip for more confident skating.
Die Cut Eva Insole - Ethyl Vinyl Acetate (EVA) insoles are a firmer material than you would find on standard orthotic insoles to offer better shock absorption while reducing the weight of the overall shoe.
Gusset Tongue - Elastic gussets connect the tongue and the midsole, giving you a snug fit and keeping your tongue in place.
One Piece Toe - A one piece toe allows the upper material to wear evenly, without worrying about blowing out a seam
